Coffee With TME // Q & A.

L E T ' S  T A K E  T H I N G S  E A S Y  T O D A Y  A N D  H A V E  A  Q & A.

So I decided to start this new series 🌸  Coffee with TME 🌸  a post where we can all ramble about the things that we enjoy, hate, like, do and more. So why not start this series with a Question and Answer post.

Two days ago, I asked you on Twitter to ask me anything that comes up on your mind and here are some that I picked and hopefully there is going to be a second part soon. So if you haven't had the chance to ask or would love to know something about me then you can always dm me on here about anything and I will reply.

So let the fun part begin BUT wait, how about you listen to this while reading, it's actually the song I am listening to while writing this post.....

WHO IS YOUR YOUTUBE CRUSH?

Well you'd notice by now that my youtube crush is Cartia Mallan 😉   But to be honest, I do find every youtuber that do have a meaning behind the videos they are making are good ones to watch and get inspired from. But I do have more than one youtube crush if that's okay? Niomi Smart , Tanya Burr , Claudia Sulewski ,  Inthefrow ,  Lydia Elise Millen and more.

If you're a Youtuber then I'd love to check your channel and maybe support each other "winks".

WHERE IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL NEXT?

In less than 21 days I will be flying to Azerbaijan and I can't wait to. I can't wait to take you all on this amazing journey that's going to last for 2 weeks. But if I wasn't traveling to Azerbaijan I would definitely like to travel to Switzerland or Greece.

What travel posts would you like to read?

ARE YOU A FULL TIME BLOGGER?

A question that I get asked a lot due to the period I've been blogging "since 2013" . And no I am not a full time blogger. I am a full time student and that's all. I enjoy blogging and it has always been my hobby. But hopefully one day I could say Blogging is my full time job. But for now no it's not my full time job.

DO YOU LABEL YOURSELF A LIFESTYLE,FASHION OR BEAUTY BLOGGER?

Well when I first started blogging it was all about makeup and beauty etc. but as time passes by I did realise that i do enjoy the "lifestyle" kinda blogging. I do enjoy fashion and I love trends etc. but due to the fact that I can't show myself it made me lose the interests of becoming a fashion blogger. But instead I do label myself a lifestyle blogger now and hopefully I'm changing my blog more into a "personal" and helpful blog not just a place to talk about makeup and skin care and favourites etc. I would definitely like to have this blog as I place to spread positivity.

HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU STARTED BLOGGING?

I started blogging in 2013 which means I was just 14 years old.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PAID POST?

I never charged any post for money exchange. The idea behind getting paid over post isn't a big deal to me as long as I enjoy posting about a certain thing. What is the use if I get paid over a post that I didn't enjoy typing or writing about?  And a quick tip, if you're blogging for the money then let me tell you that that isn't the way to get paid!

ARE YOU A POSITIVE PERSON?

Is it bad that I'm trying to become a positive person? I've been so negative about myself for months and months and I just realised 2 weeks ago that nothing matters more than my health. Defiantly after being rushed to the hospital I realised that I should always be positive and to stop comparing my behind the scenes to someones else "perfect" Instagram feed.

If you need to talk to someone or you feel down then dm me at anytime, anywhere and I will be there to help you no matter what the case is.

Leave me a comment, and let me know what you'd like to read on this series next? and do you enjoy reading fashion, lifestyle or beauty posts the most?

A NEW CHAPTER.

T O D A Y  ,  A  N E W  C H A P T E R  B E G I N S .

It’s 5 AM in the morning and I’m sitting here writing this down due to the fact that I can’t sleep. Since I graduated high school I have had that feeling that I can't actually describe right now. But I can admit that lately I've been feeling negative about myself, my body, my skin, my life in general. And I just realised that one of the reasons that made me feel that way is what I see on social media everyday and every second of my life.

Perfection is the only thing that I've been seeing all over the internet lately. So I decided that I should stop comparing myself to others, in other words I should declutter some people that I actually follow on social media. People that actually make me feel low about myself and my life. So here are some things I'm planning on doing for a better ME.

DECLLUTTER SOCIAL MEDIA PERFECTIONISTS

I need to remind myself everyday that there isn't something in this entire world that is called perfect. Everything on the internet that I see everyday is photoshopped. What I see in a picture on Instagram is a "moment" photo not an entire life. So a photo might mean perfect but their life might not be perfect.

APPRECIATE MY SKIN

Appreciating my skin has always been my one and only goal that I've never been accepting. I need to start taking more care of it and start caring less about the results. And a huge tip is to never look at your face when you are on your period or else you'd cry "just like me".

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS

I feel there is so many things in this world that people take for granted and don't really appreciate, like for example the rain, the sunset, the sunrise, the sounds of birds sining in the morning. I would really like to take a moment to enjoy every little thing.

STOP COMPARING MYSELF TO OTHERS

This is the one that I've been struggling with for such a long time, but it is really important thing is to not compare myself to others. There is only one person that can be you and that is you!

SURROUND MYSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE

People with negative vibes tend to make me feel that way no matter what mood or place I'm in. So I should start looking for people that are more positive and that will spread positivity around me, not the opposite. Sometimes or honestly most of the time I would be negative about myself but I definitely need people/friends to make me think positive again.

BE THANKFUL
And last but not least, It's really important to take a moment to reflect on the things that I do have in my life, things that are really positive and just reflect on those and be thankful and grateful for them.

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Leave me a comment, and let me know how you all feel about the pressure of being perfect, how do you get over your negative thoughts and how do you create your own definition of a perfect life?

10 Things I do before bed ft. Adore Me

Hey ladies, apologies for not posting regularly for almost 2 months now, but I've been busy lately with school work and things to deal with. I’ve been meaning to get around blogging for so long now, but it actually feels amazing to be back. Anyways in this post I'm actually teaming up with Adore Me to let you know 10 Things I do and you can do before going to bed aka sleep.
So First, do you have a bedtime routine? If you know me you'd definitely know that I'm a bit of a night owl and you'd actually know how much I love my night time routine especially during week days were I have to be awake at 5 am (that sounds boring) but that's what I actually enjoy the most, waking up so early before anyone else.
I do believe having a routine is important and These are 10 things to do before bed....
  1. Set an Alarm - First thing I do once I'm in bed is set my alarm on "4 am in weekdays and 7-8 am in weekends". Also try setting an alarm for one hour before you’d like to be settled in bed. This signals actually helps me to realise that it's time to step out of my day, turn off my phone and laptop and start winding down.
  2. Know your to-do list for the following day - I always like to take at least 10-20 minutes to sit down and write my to-do list for the next day. This is just to help you prioritise tomorrow in the most effective way possible.
  3. Have a bedtime drink/snack - I never go to bed with an empty stomach. I always have to have a snack next to my bed to eat when I'm hungry in bed. And water is actually something that I can't go to sleep without, but that doesn't mean to over hydrate yourself.
  4. Put on a face mask- I do like to put on a face mask while I'm in bed, checking my i-Phone and just relaxing.
  5. Have some quiet time. Right before I go to bed,  I like to make time to thank God for all my blessings and just reflect on my day overall. And wonder what I can do to make my next day a better and more productive day.
  6. Netflix game - I have been watching Netflix for the past 2 months and that actually makes me relax and forget about my long, tiring, gloomy day.
  7. Online shopping "not actually buying" -  So online shopping is the trend right now and I actually know that everyone now a days prefer shopping online rather than spending time to go to the mall/shopping centers to buy something. Adore me have got a lot of cool sleepwear pieces that I've been in love with. You can actually check them out here sleepwear and also they do have a lot of sportswear/activewear that got me motivated to workout more workout clothes
  8. Optimise your sleep space - You might not believe this but I do spend 1 minute spraying perfume all over my pillows and sheets and everything before diving into my bed. Good smell actually makes me feel comfortable while sleeping.
  9. Read -  I've been more into reading lately to stay away from watching tv late at night. And lately reading has been a part of my studying routine.
  10. Music - Listen to some soft music and just write down whatever is on your heart. Quieting your heart and mind before you go to bed will make a huge difference in the way you sleep. You cannot sleep properly when you are anxious and worried.

Just wanted to say that those aren't in any chronological order, those are just things I do before heading to bed and while I'm in bed setting out of my day. So I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and if I missed anything, then let me know that :D

    New Years Resolution 2017 \ TME♡

New Year doesn't always mean a new ME! sometimes it has to do with someone's improvement and succeess!

Anyways I can't actually believe that it's already 2017! I really thought that this year would be a bit slower but I was totally wrong! But first I would like to thank Envy Fisher for joining me in today's post & to be honest she's the best and the sweetest blogger I have ever met.

So here are the things I'm looking forward to do this year...

    1. One of my resolutions this year it to travel at least once in 2017.
    2. I need to pass all my exams this year to join UAEU "United Arab Emirates University" the biggest university here in UAE!
    3. I need to start taking care of my body, not just losing weight and looking good but I need to accept it and love it.
    4. I want to start drawing more and show my creativity in it. I have always hated drawing but this year I need to tell myself and show myself that drawing is a way of taking my mind of and relaxing whilst doing something that I always thought i was bad at!
    5. I'm finally going to be 18 this year which means I need to have my car licenses and definitely getting a new car "yay"!
    6. I challenged myself to go on an entire day with no internet and more specifically without my new baby, my new i-Phone 7 Plus that I keep carrying on everywhere I go 24/7.
    7. I'm focusing more on my social media accounts and made a goal to reach 20,000 views on my blog! (we've just reached 10,000 views here yay) and 2,000 followers on Instagram "not that I actually care about the numbers but it just makes me feel that I'm doing something great, you got what I mean" and last but not least to reach 5,000 followers on Twitter!
    8. This one is to actually focus more on my blog and work on it and never to start procrastinating again for an entire month! And to be honest, throughout this year I started realising how blogging has changed me a lot and that it has been my everything for the past 4 years and it's actually something that I would love to continue doing forever!
    9. Second to last, it's to collab more with bloggers and to never be shy to ask for collaborations whether it for bloggers or for brands! I've lost so many opportunities this year so no more saying no to the right people!
    10. Last and definitely not least is that this year I should do something that I've never done before and must be proud of it!

Anyways that's all for today's post but before I go I just want to ask you, What's the most important goal that you want to achieve this year?

I NEED TO STOP BODY SHAMING ... MYSELF!

I did promise myself in the beginning of 2016 that I would stop body shamming .... MYSELF! But as months passed by I started realising that I'm back to hating my own body! I do always tell myself that,"This is your own body and no one like I mean NO one got the right to define you and your own body! Now a question to everyone reading this post, What's your ideal body type? Curvy? Slim? Tall? Short? Skinny? etc! Well all those are just labels that doesn't define someone! I might be curvy and HATE it but someone else could find it a body type that they would like to have or even be born with.

Growing up , I was totally comparing myself to other "models, actresses, social-media influencers & singers" and that actually made me unconfident with what I truly have and made me think why am I not that perfect? even though people say "No one is perfect!" But I still thought that they were perfect. I told myself I needed to change just to fit our society beauty standards.

Who cares if my hair went frizzy or my makeup smudges in public? I don't, then why should anyone care? I need to focus more on my future and not what I look like! I need to stop letting what I look like decide my life choices and what I can do and what I can't. I should start telling myself that I can do anything I want to do and my appearance should not be a problem. So let's all spread body love and stop body shamming ourselves, cuz we are all beautiful in our own way.

P.s You, yes You! You are beautiful in your own, unique way and never let anyone say the opposite <3

    Lots of love,

    🌸 {Review} Soothing Summer Cocoon Treatment 🌸

Hello everyone, I hope you've had an amazing day so far just as I did. So in today's post I will be talking about my honest review behind the "Soothing Summer Cocoon" treatment that I just had done 2 days ago at my favourite Spa and Nails salon, Tips & Toes. Before telling you what the treatment is about etc. I would like to thank Manilyn and Michelle for taking care of me the entire time and giving me the best nails I've ever had. The major 3 reasons why I love visiting that "specific" Salon is that it's always calm. Even if they had the salon filled up with customers it just seems that you are the only one there pampering yourself with their light music and the sounds of the lovely indoor water fountain they've got. Second thing that I really love about Tips and Toes is that classy, brownish decor that you can see all over the salon. And last but not least, the clients themselves are just fabulous and I really like going there to meet their new, lovely clients each and every time Im there.

Anyways less about the Salon and more about the treatment "which my post is all about ".
